Schools Without Borders is a Youth run Canadian Charity that sends dedicated young leaders in our community on exchanges to Kenya, Cuba, Brazil, to meet their counterparts and see programs happening at an international scale.  They take the experiences they learn home and it spreads not just  in their communities but how it benefits the world at large.

Started in Toronto, the participants go to countries with 100 times less opportunities but are having 100 times more effective results.  They see the movements that people are making at a global scale to be truly inspiring.  Communities that are building homes and schools from scratch, youth that has to deal with Aids, homelessness, and war.  They learn to manage  projects and write grant proposals.  They live in communities for a week to a month and see people who are less privileged then they are and see that their counterparts are facing the same challenges as them.

889 Younge Yoga and Global Mala plan to raise $30 000 to buy an acre of land in Nairobi for Safe Spaces and Schools Without Borders to transform into a health and wellness centre including a community garden, workshop facilities, yoga studio, cyber cafe, basketball court, and centre for lifelong learning.

They are even giving away a life changing trip to Nairobi for the top fund raiser and a friend, to volunteer with Safe Spaces and work on the project.
