Michael DeCorte

Michael DeCorte : Jock Yoga is my personal take on Power Yoga. Coming from a background of weight-lifting and marathon running, I know first-hand what it is like to desire a good workout in a yoga class and have fear of attending because of my lack of flexibilty. My Jock Yoga classes are designed for people with less flexibility that still want a great workout. In these classes, which are set to contemporary music, we focus primarily on vigorous movement, standing postures and any postures that aid in the opening of athletic muscles, like shoulder-openers, hip-openers and hamstring stretches. Jock Yoga is accessible to all levels of fitness, and is open to anyone who is prepared to sweat.
